Formed June 2004, by Biggreensupreme, who has been the leader of the clan since its inception. Best known for being one of the largest clans in KoL history; by November 2004 the clan had over 1,500 members. KOL addicts recruited aggressively in Newbie chat during the summer of 2004, and its reputation as a good start for newbies has kept new players rolling into the Addict clan hall. KOL Addicts has made several large donations to KoL radio, and was also a major player in clan warfare in 2004. KOL Addicts are also a source of great humor – have a look at some of the names of their clan members, and tell me you don’t start laughing. |
| MAJOR MEMBERS: *Biggreensupreme (#110993)–Most famous as clan leader. Also very active in the Wand of Nagamar/WANG craze, although he did not make much Meat off of it (See Jayo, under Alliance from hell, for more on this). *Radiedwa (#154619)–Successor to BigGreenSupreme as clan leader. Radiedwa was an early clan member and director of recruitment; Radiedwa’s efforts are a large part of why KOL Addicts has been so successful in recruiting new members. Radiedwa was an active store member during the Hell Ramen wars, and donated large amounts of money to KOL Addicts’s clan coffers. *tokek (#135580)–Well-known forum poster. *EmphalerFish (#151434)–Well-known forum poster. EmphalerFish’s account was hacked in December 2004, and was subsequenty restored when the perpetrator was identified. Later a member of Alliance From Hell and Tainted Meat Alliance. *Dreadwing (#125120)–Highest ranking member of the clan, and one of the founding members. Dreadwing took issue with the way things were handled in the clan, and is now used as an Accordion Thief buffbot by the clan. Dreadwing briefly ran a one-man clan called Reset: No! *MyPeen (#65161)–Perhaps best known for his outlandish store name, "P.Enis Extensions PLC", MyPeen was extremely active in mall price-fixing of webs, lids, and firecrackers in the summer of 2004. Also a major target in the Mafia hit wars of Nov. ’04. *ePeterso2 (#282376)-Noted forum poster and clan administrator. ePeterso2 is the custodian of the Jick and Skully show FAQ, and a frequent contributor of questions to the show. *Blobshine (#146427)-oft-commissioned KoL artist. *ChefBoiAreDee (#151380)–KOL Addicts bot developer, and former host of a well-known and popular Clan Looter site. *Oh_No_Shrubs (#288459)-Prolific Random Ramblings spammer. *Hojo Hominygrits (#196078)-Noted forum poster. *Cranky Ewok (#186643)-noted powergamer. *banjob (#105105)-Inactive account converted to a Turtle Tamer buffbot in early 2005. *L00ki3 (#151958)-Inactive account converted to a Sauceror buffbot in early 2005. *Charr (#89918)-See Philanthropists. *BobaJames (#140944)-Active leader of KOL Addicts in fall 2005. Bobajames became increasingly aggravated over stash looting from new members, and disbanded the clan on October 11, 2005. *DevilzFyre (#27078)–noted powergamer. |
